Why this site exists
When someone in Fremont searches for detox, rehab, or a meeting, they mostly find national directories full of outdated listings and 800-numbers that route to call centers. The information is stale, and the calls are sold. This directory exists to publish what is actually on the public record: each listing names its source, carries a verification flag, and shows the date it was last checked. If a listing cannot be verified, it says so — and it does not appear in recommended positions.
What the editor does
- Re-checks listings against their cited sources and updates the last-verified dates
- Reads every correction, update, and listing request sent in — and replies
- Keeps the data methodology honest: no paid rankings, no referral fees, no hidden placement
- Answers facility operators who want their listing added or corrected
